Moto G9 Play, the likely successor of the Moto G8 Play, has sprung up on Geekbench. The benchmarking site tips the unannounced phone ‘s key specifications, and it’s seen to come with more memory than its predecessor. This is the first time we hear about the Moto G9 Play and the Geekbench listing suggests the company will be working to launch it in the future. There is no word from Motorola as yet concerning the launch of the Moto G9 series in the near future.
The Moto G9 Play’s Geekbench listing indicates 4 GB of RAM, and the phone is listed for running on Android 10 software. Launched in October of last year, the Moto G8 Play comes with 2 GB RAM.
In any case, since the Moto G8 Play is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 M SoC, the Moto G9 Play will see a switch to Qualcomm processor. Apart from that, the Geekbench listing does not offer any other information about the Moto G9 Play.
Another telephone in the Moto G9 series-the Moto G9 Plus-has recently been spotted on a Spanish online retail site with a price tag of EUR 277.15 (about Rs 23.700) for the 4 GB + 128 GB storage variant. The phone was listed online with the XT2087 model number but the site did not mention specifications and other phone details. The retail site also suggested two variants of the Moto G9 Plus could be in the offing.
